How do I get tested through Root Biology?

Bring your official physician lab order to our facility and will be able to take and process your sample. Don’t have a physician order? Contact our partners at Wellacy!

How do I receive my results?

Once results are available, you will receive notice via email. You will need to sign-up to our patient portal. Turn around times vary per test – from results in minutes to days depending on test(s) selected.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are not required, but are highly encouraged.

Billing - How does it work?

At this time our services are cash-based. If you are interested in our services, contact our lab team for more information on our pricing.

Do you accept insurance?

Root Biology does not accept insurance. Tests purchased are your financial responsibility. If you would like to seek reimbursement from you insurance carrier, Wellacy will provide you with the necessary paperwork.

Can I use my health savings account as payment?

Root Biology suggests confirming with your health account administrator to determine if Root Biology related expenses are eligible for reimbursement under your plan. You may be able to submit Root Biology related expenses to your Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account or similar accounts for reimbursement.
